Casa Paradis is typical of the style of house to be found all over the island, with wooden shutters and tiled floors throughout. With regular updating and improvements made every year, the interior is modern, contemporary and comfortable. We want all our guests to feel relaxed and at home from the moment they arrive, and we make every effort to ensure that the holiday accommodation we offer is above average in every way.

Apart from the stylish, well-proportioned living accommodation, the best thing about Casa Paradis is its location. Away from all the hustle and bustle, yet within walking distance of the beach, shops, restaurants, marina and citadel, it is conveniently close to everything - yet, as many guests comment, the villa is a relaxing retreat away from the main tourist activity. Friendly neighbours in the quartier give guests who stay at Casa Paradis a real taste of local life.

Casa Paradis’ convenient location makes it easy to pop out for fresh croissants for breakfast, or to pick up some delicious homemade food from the local traiteur (if you don’t fancy cooking or going to a restaurant). And it’s easy to walk home from a night out without having to worry about who’s turn it is to be the designated driver or the extra expense of a taxi. Everything you may need is within easy walking distance: banks, cashpoints, post office, bakeries and cake shops, butchers, fishmongers, fruit & veg shops, well-stocked supermarkets, delicatessens, chemists, beauty treatments, hairdressers, florists, newsagents and book shops, internet cafés, and of course bars and restaurants. There is a small morning market selling local produce, and you can also buy freshly-caught fish and lobster direct from local fishermen on the port.

garden: a gate opens into the private walled patio garden. A central mulberry tree provides a natural parasol, perfect for dining alfresco in the shade. The borders are filled with roses, jasmine, hibiscus, bourgainvillea and other Mediterranean plants, along with some herbs to which guests are welcome to help themselves. There is an outdoor table and chairs, and a Weber kettle barbecue. Steps lead up to the front door and a small terrace with a mosaic table and chairs.

kitchen: modern and very well-equipped with quality appliances and utensils including: Smeg range oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and kettle. We provide plenty of glasses, plates, bowls and other crockery, a range of decent saucepans, quality sharp knives, fresh salt and pepper grinders, a picnic set and coolbox, and a selection of cookery books, making it easy to self-cater in style. There is also a Moroccan mosaic table with seating for 4, a table fan, and double doors opening onto a small sunny balcony.

living room: a light and spacious room with 3 comfortable sofas to relax in, a traditional open fireplace and a large dining table with seating for 8 people.

entertainment: services and facilities provided include: lcd flatscreen television with multilingual satellite tv (for English-speaking guests there is Sky free-to-view which includes BBC, ITV and C4; for French-speaking guests there is TNT Sat, which also includes numerous German, Spanish and other international channels). There is also a dvd player, an iPod/MP3 docking station with radio, and a cd stereo. There is free secure WiFi wireless broadband which extends to the garden, and a telephone (outgoing calls only) . You will also find a selection of board games for all ages, and books including novels, a French dictionary, and some guidebooks to the island. We also provide maps and tourist information.

bedrooms: all of the four bedrooms are tastefully furnished and have comfortable beds, ceiling fans and clapperboard wardrobes with shelving and hanging space, wicker baskets and wooden coathangers. There are also mirrors, chairs and teak bedside tables with lights. One of the double bedrooms (queen size bed) is situated on the ground floor and has shuttered doors opening onto the small terrace above the garden. On the first floor there are three further bedrooms: one double bedroom with queen size bed, and two twin bedrooms (each with two single beds, which can be pushed together if so desired).

bathrooms: the two bathrooms are both on the first floor. There is plenty of hot water for everyone, and the powerful water pressure makes for an invigorating shower. In the modern family bathroom there is a full-length bath and a separate shower cubicle, as well as two large white porcelain sinks with wooden storage cupboards. The stylish shower room has a sink and wicker storage unit, and we also provide two decent quality hairdryers.

toilets: there are two independent toilets, one on each floor.

children: there are two cots and two highchairs, and we can also provide two lightweight foldable buggies, saving you the inconvenience of bringing them with you. There is a microwave and blender, and plastic plates and cups. There are also two bathroom steps. There are shutters on all windows which are very effective at blocking out any light. The garden is private and secure with a lockable gate. We can also arrange for an English-speaking babysitter during your stay. 

other: we also provide an iron and ironing board, a clothes drying rack (there is also a washing line in the garden), plenty of cleaning products and a vacuum cleaner. A weekly change of linen and towels is also included.

parking: there is free on-street parking, and a paying car park a couple of minutes walk away (maximum cost €5 per day).
